Nicole Ingalls graduated from Indiana University Kokomo with a BFA in 2014. She received her MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2017.
She is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in photography, printmaking, and sculpture. She is strongly inspired by her surroundings and the conflicts that arise (body, self, and relationships) in a modern capitalist society.
Her current body of work opens a discussion on societal expectations and control of female bodies relating to motherhood.
She is also interested in systems in America which assist in the creation and perpetuation of obesity.
Particularly, in the control of our bodies and nature for the purpose of larger profits.
